building contains a tastefully appointed lounge where alumni and their friends can meet before and after athletic events and on such occasions as Commencement, Charter Day and Homecoming.
Since 1954, The Alumni House has enriched life on the Berkeley campus and served to build a bond of association and friendship among members of the University community. Alumni returning to the campus for visits are encouraged to use its facilities and invite their friends to meet them there. From conferences and receptions to seminars and weddings, the Alumni House is the perfect, versatile place for large or small gatherings. Toll Room
Most events are held in the Toll Room which, enhanced by walnut paneling and a fireplace that can be lit creating a wonderful atmospheare with also a feel of an ultra-spacious living room. Along one side, floor-to ceiling windows overlook a large slate patio.
Bechtel Conference Room
At the far end of the Toll Room, a wall of sliding walnut panels separates it from the Bechtel

Conference Room. When the panels are closed, the conference room is perfect for board meetings or as a breakout room and it is also equipped with a conference phone. A 22-foot wood table, surrounded by blue leather conference chairs, dominates the space. A wall of glass offers natural light and a view of the patio while another wall enhances the room with a glass case of CAL memoribilia. The conference room is also well suited for a buffet setup.
Sibley Room
A meeting room downstairs with a classroom style setup that has whiteboard capabilities as well as internet and conference phone use. Great for private meetings.
President's Room
Small meeting room with conference table that sits up to ten people. This room is away from the general flow of Alumni House traffic making it very quiet and peaceful. Perfect room for private meetings and interviews.
Patio
The patio is a perfect place where you can sit and relax and enjoy the outdoor campus feeling. It is bordered by Japanese maples, oakes, redwoods and ferns making this an ideal place for weddings or an outdoor luncheon.
