My Last Position was with Get Education & Publishing Group in Taipei, Taiwan. I worked as the Events Coordinating Intern while studying abroad this past summer. Get Education & Publishing Group is divided into two parts: one part is a tutoring institute for students who wish to attend graduate schools; the other part is a publishing company where the institute publishes its own books. I worked in the tutoring institute. I was in charge of planning and coordinating Get Education’s weekly events. My job ranged from scheduling guest speakers and making arrangements with the audio/visual department, to hosting the events. The internship allowed me to meet many interesting people, and gave me the chance to gain more experience with public speaking, which is something that I have always enjoyed doing. I Work Best when my job involves interacting with others. I love working with people. When I worked as a News Assignment Desk Intern at NBC11, I had the opportunity to see first-hand what the field reporters had to go through when they were to work on a story. I loved the fact that they had to go up to people and interview them, come back and write a story , and then report it to the public. The first time I had the chance to go out in the field with a reporter, I felt so excited just to be able to stand there and observe him doing his job. I remember telling myself that I could not wait for the day when I too would be a reporter. My Dream Job Would Be to become a news reporter/anchor. I understand that it takes many years of experience to reach this position. I have an open mind and will work hard to achieve my goal. I am an avid learner, always giving myself opportunities to broaden my horizon. My Next Step is to find an entry-level position in the media and broadcasting field. I am most interested in a position where I can gain more knowledge and experience toward my dream job. At the same time, I would like a job that would allow me the opportunity to utilize my skills, abilities and experience to ensure both my and the company’s success. I am a person who believes strongly in integrity and diligence, and I always have the desire to be challenged.
