In August, we have our Barbecue with invited guests from CAL. The Big Game Rally is always the Sunday before Big Game. We always have the rally, spirit and cheer groups there to incite excitement about the Game. Our seminar meeting, in January, at which time we change Board members and have an interesting program of speakers from various departments in the University.

We offer a wide range of activities, including our famous Big Game Party, fireside chats with CAL professors, art museum and symphony outings as well as hikes into the countryside and more. Camaraderie is a key element of the club. It is made up of both recent and not-so-recent graduates, and welcomes all ages, ethnic backgrounds, diverse lifestyles and interests. Because we are close to the Lair of the Golden Bear, a summer camp owned by CAA, we do special projects at the Lair and are also able to attend the lectures given there during the summer.
