About CAA CAA Board of Directors Giving to CAA Volunteer CAA News and Press Releases "KCAA" Multimedia Cal Connection E-Newsletter Cal Advocacy Alum of the Month – October 2006 Patrick Miller '73 Alum named Dean for Graduate Studies and Outreach The College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech has named Patrick Miller, Dean for Graduate Studies and Outreach. Miller, a professor of landscape architecture, will head a college with more than 2,000 students, 160 faculty members and 22 degrees programs at the most comprehensive university in Virginia. Miller has experience working in both the United States and Canada, and is a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He has also served as former national president of that organization and as the former department head of landscape architecture. Patrick Miller received his Master of Landscape degree at UC Berkeley in 1973. He earlier earned a bachelor’s at California State Polytechnic, and his doctorate at the University of Michigan.
