Sign-up for an in-person training session

We will hold workshops at the Alumni House to provide help with registration, setting up profiles, and posting class notes. To join, please email us.

Once the dates have been finalized, we will send out an email with RSVP instructions.

Step 1: Register with @cal to create your CalNetID and passphrase

If you have registered with @cal, skip to Step 2 and start posting your class notes.

Step 2: Post class notes through @calcafé

Once you've created your CalNetID and passphrase, you can find classmates and post class notes in @calcafé by using the Groups tool.

  1. Watch video: "Groups"
    This short video is an introduction on how to find a group and join a group.

  2. Login to @calcafe directly to join a group: calcafe.berkeley.edu


  3. To post a class note:

    1. Visit your Class Year group page


    2. Click on the link "New Post >" in the Posts section of the groups page





    3. Type in your class note and click submit.
