Foreign Currency Exchange Services

Bank of America and the California Alumni Association want you to feel secure when traveling. Bank of America will provide foreign currency exchange services that include purchasing and selling foreign currency and Travelers Cheques to UC Berkeley alumni and friends.

Special Offers for UC Berkeley Alumni and Friends

• Eliminate the $7.50 per order shipping fee (currently in place for all orders under $1,000).
• Eliminate the $10 per order service fee (currently in place for non-Bank of America account holders).
• Bank of America will purchase any leftover foreign currency (except coins) and Travelers Cheques at the original purchase rate. (Only for the CAA!)
• All Travelers Cheques will be sold commission-free to UC Berkeley alumni and friends.

1. Log onto http://www.bankofamerica.com/foreigncurrency


2. Follow the procedures for ordering currency, noting "CAA" at the end of the purchaser's name.


3. Orders will be shipped the same day via Federal Express, provided the order is placed before 2:00 PM local time. Orders are delivered Monday through Friday.


4. Bank of America will ship up to $1,000 equivalent to the statement address and up to $5,000 to a Bank of America banking center.

1. State how the US Dollar equivalent should be paid, either by credit to a Bank of America account or by a mailed cashier's check.


2. Note "CAA - repurchase" on the photocopy of the original receipt.


3. Place photocopy of receipt along with foreign currency (no coins, please) in a secure envelope and send to Bank of America by a secure mail service that will allow you to track the package.
