Welcome to the Cal Family! Students: Cal Alumni Groups around the nation would like to welcome you to the Cal campus. We welcome you and your family to attend a summer welcome reception in your area to meet other admitted students and parents, as well as connect with Cal alums who have "been through it before". Please look at the receptions below to see which one best fits your schedule - some of them require an RSVP, while some you can just show up! *CAA Chartered Alumni Groups: CAA encourages you to host a welcome reception for new UC Berkeley students! Receptions: Placer County Area Enjoy an afternoon of fun with other Cal Bears! New students: This is your opportunity to meet other Placer County students headed to Berkeley! Continuing students: Come share your Berkeley experiences with the newbies! Alumni: Come meet the best and brightest students from our County! There will be food!
