Marites B. Ares ’05, a former Young Alumni Board Member now working as a legislative analyst for the California School Boards Association, returns to CAA’s board. During her time at Cal, she served on the Vice Chancellor’s Committee on Student Fees and Budget Review, as an account executive at The Daily Californian, and as a student consultant to the Health Fee Advisory Committee. She is presently pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at CSU Sacramento and plans to graduate next year.
