Alaska | Alaska Alumni Club

At the top of the world, you'll find our Bears bringing alumni together for our Big Game Party where each year we exchange--not the axe--but the Alaskan ulu with the Stanford Club. We also gather whenever the Cal Discoveries Alumni courageously venture north to visit our spectacular wildlife and gorgeous natural settings.

Alumni Chorus (UC Alumni Chorus)

We are comprised of ninety singers (members) who are alumni from various campuses, faculty and staff, graduate students and friends of UC Berkeley.

Arizona | Cal Alumni Club of Phoenix

The Cal Alumni Club of Phoenix provides social and networking opportunities, and supports Cal in our local communities and schools. We are based in the Greater Phoenix area, and welcome all Cal alumni living throughout Arizona.

Armenian | UC Berkeley Armenian Alumni Association (UCBAA)

We are comprised of alumni and faculty of UC Berkeley. The purpose of our organization is to promote and support Armenian studies at Berkeley, and to contribute to the many enriching activities of the Bay Area Armenian community.

Art Alumni Group

Our group is dedicated to promoting the growth, improvement, and esteem of the Art Practice Department at UC Berkeley; to support and promote social and professional activities on behalf of the department for students, alumni and professionals; and to encourage educational activities for students, alumni and professionals.

Asian | Berkeley Asian American Pacific Islander Alumni

The Berkeley AAPI Alumni Association seeks to financially support students dedicated to activism, community organizing, or Asian American Studies, provide community resources and mentoring for the AAPI community at UC Berkeley, support Asian American Studies nationally, and share the legacy of Asian Americans in the struggle for social justice.

Berkeley Chinese Alumni International Association (BCAIA)

We were formed to facilitate business, cultural and academic ties between UC Berkeley/Silicon Valley/US and Greater China and was named CAA's Outstanding Alumni Group of the Year in 2007.

Berkeley Environmental Alumni Network (BEAN)

We engage alumni from UC Berkeley in professional and fun networking opportunities as well as environmental philanthropy and volunteering activities that benefit the University.

Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association (BSCAA)

We exist to support the USCA's mission to offer a quality, low-cost housing community to students who might not otherwise be able to afford an university education. We host co-op reunions where you can meet co-opers of all generations, and also have the opportunity to connect with and support today's co-opers.

Berkeley Student Parent Alumni Network

We are open to all current and former UC Berkeley Student Parents. Our members include individuals who are parenting or have parented children during their time as a student at Cal. Our mission is to foster opportunities for social connections between alumni, for personal, career and lifelong learning, as well as to use our expertise and networks to enrich the experience of all current and former UC Berkeley student parents and their families.

Black Alumni Club

The University of California, Berkeley Black Alumni Club (“BAC”) is committed to serving and uniting African-American alumni and students of the University of California, Berkeley. BAC’s mission includes the recruitment of prospective students; retention, development, and matriculation of existing students; and networking and career advancement opportunities for alumni. BAC’s goal is to maintain a community for UC Berkeley African-American alums, and to recognize our achievements and contributions to the University.

Bowles Hall Alumni Association (BHAA)

Our mission is to restore the Bowles Hall experience in a restored Bowles Hall.

Cal Alumni Club of Fresno

We encompass alumni in the central San Joaquin Valley in Fresno, Madera, and Merced counties.

Cal Alumni Club of Oakmont

Our club actively supports the CAA Scholarship programs for both the Leadership and The Achievement Award Program endowment funds, meeting monthly for informal dinners at the Wild Oak Saddle Club. There are two annual dinners in the spring and fall, featuring speakers from the Berkeley campus.

Cal Band Alumni Association (CBAA)

We represent over 2,600 former living Cal Band members, actively supporting the Cal Band, providing performance and social opportunities for members, training student officers, and preserving historical artifacts of the Cal Band.

Cal Financial Professionals

The Cal Financial Professionals Group is for UC Berkeley students and alumni with an interest in the financial services industry.

Cal Lightweight Crew Alumni

We support the Cal Lightweight Crew in its competitive goals and to foster a broad community of current and former alumni, family, and other supporters of Cal Lightweight Crew.

Cal Muslim Alumni

Cal Muslim Alumni (CMA) aims to ensure that Muslim alumni from Cal sustain a proactive connection to current Muslim students, other Muslim Cal alumni, and the UC Berkeley community at large. CMA is committed to serving and uniting Muslim alumni and students through educational and service initiatives including workshops, community service projects, and academic scholarships.

Cal Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Alumni

Since the beginning of the Peace Corps in 1961, UC Berkeley has produced more Peace Corps volunteers than any other university in history. Let’s embrace our contribution to Cal and the Peace Corps! Join Cal Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Alumni, and connect with fellow Cal Alums who have completed their service with the Peace Corps.

Cal Singles

We seek to bring together older local single alumni, faculty and friends by organizing activities designed to create an ongoing intellectual, social and supportive environment.

CalSO | Timewarp: CalSO and CalPrep Alumni Group

There are nearly 1,300 alumni of CalPrep and CalSO alive today. Our goal is to form a self-sustaining organization that allows alums to stay connected with one another, coordinates reunions, provides networking opportunities for alums and students, and facilitates fundraising to support CalSO.

Central Coast Cal Alumni Chapter

We serve the greater San Luis Obispo area with scholarship fundraising, events and programs for nearly 100 members.

Chicano Latino Alumni Association Nor Cal (CLAA)

We strive to create an expanding network of Cal Chicano/Latino alumni throughout the state, including international contacts, who are committed to maintaining ties with the larger Cal community, as well as provide valuable support to Cal's efforts in recruiting and graduating Chicano/Latino students.

Chicano Latino Alumni Association So Cal (CLAA)

Chinese Chapter

Our goals are to raise scholarship funds, to promote the interests of the University, and to facilitate social and professional ties amongst its alumni. We also work with our sister organization, the UC Chinese Foundation, in raising funds and awarding scholarships.

Colorado | Colorado Alumni (Rocky Mountain Golden Bears)

Our group's main purposes are to encourage Colorado high school students to attend Cal, to award Alumni Scholarships to deserving Colorado high school students going to Berkeley, and to provide networking and social activities for local Cal alums.

Connecticut | Cal Alumni of New Haven

The Cal Alumni of New Haven provides an opportunity for Cal alumni, friends, and family to come together and enjoy a bit of California on the East Coast. We host a variety of social events such as football viewing parties and happy hours.

Daily Cal Alumni

Our membership is open to all former Daily Cal staffers.

Engineering | UC Berkeley Engineering Alumni Society

Our society is open to all UC Berkeley engineering alumni. Our mission is to foster opportunities for social connections between alumni, for personal, career and lifelong learning, and to use our expertise and networks to enrich the experience of all UC Berkeley engineering students and alumni.

Florida | South Florida Alumni of UC Berkeley

Join the South Florida Alumni of UC Berkeley for some networking with fellow Cal alumni. We will also be representing Berkeley in local college fairs and other outreach activities for prospective and admitted Cal students in the Tri-County area.

Georgia | UC Berkeley Alumni Club of Georgia

The key events for the UC Berkeley Alumni Club of Georgia include: scholarship interviews, club officers election party, winter holiday party, summer pool party, new student reception party, and a Big Game viewing party.

Gold Country Chapter

Founded in 1995, our Chapter serves the Greater Nevada County and Sierra County areas from our core membership base in Grass Valley/Nevada City. We provide outreach to local high schools with support to incoming freshman, along with social (wine tastings, game viewings, and Big Game party) and educational events that often include speakers from the University or the Cal Community.

Golden Overtones Alumnae

We consist of alumnae of The California Golden Overtones; a student-run a cappella group spreading music and Cal spirit for over 40 years.

Hawaii | Cal Alumni Club of Hawaii

We offer a diverse and exciting array of programs, such as a dinner with a Cal speaker, a great Big Game Party with Stanford, a gala Christmas Party with the UCLA and Stanford alumni clubs, and a Student-Parent Reception for potential Cal freshmen.

Illinois | Cal Alumni Club of Chicago

We bring Cal alums in the Chicagoland area together to enjoy events like football viewing parties and charity volunteering.

Indiana | Cal Alumni Group of Indiana

We bring Cal alumni together for social activities. We are based in Indianapolis but open to Cal alums throughout the state.

Japanese American Women Alumnae

All UC Berkeley women of Japanese ancestry are invited to be members of our club.

We encompass alumni from UC Jazz Ensembles.

Lair Staff Alumni Club

We exist for the comaraderie and support of the Lair of the Golden Bear and also support CAA's Achievement Award and Leadership Scholarships.

Lake Tahoe Alumni Club (Bears in the Woods)

Our mission is to provide support to local students attending Cal and organize social events for all Cal alumni.

Long Beach | Cal Alumni Club of Long Beach

Established in 1989, we host dinner events, raise funds for scholarships, and participate in the New Student Reception in the spring.

Los Angeles | Cal Alumni Los Angeles Chapter

We represent Cal alumni in the Los Angeles area.

Marin County Alumni Club

Our mission is to provide opportunities for Cal alums to gather together (game viewing parties, hikes, speakers, and more!), support Cal in our local communities and schools, and support the CAA Alumni Leadership Award.

Martial Arts | UC Martial Arts Program Alumni Association

We welcome all alumni who were a part of the Martial Arts Program at Cal.

Massachusetts | Cal Alumni Club of New England (CACNE)

Since our start in 1975 with a core group of active alumni in the Boston area, over the past 30 years we have grown in both scope and size. Though based in Boston, the New England club covers the states of Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island & part of Connecticut, serving over 9,000 Cal alumni.

Minnesota | Minnesota Cal Alumni Group (Frozen Bears)

We are open to Cal alums residing in the Twin Cities/Minnesota area. We plan a variety of gatherings throughout the year, including our annual Big Game party with the area Stanford alumni club, an admitted student reception, and happy hours.

Monterey | Cal Alumni Club of the Monterey Peninsula

The Cal Alumni Club of the Monterey Peninsula started out on the Monterey Peninsula and has grown to support all of Monterey County, welcoming alumni from San Benito, Santa Cruz and beyond. We host social events and guest speakers from the UC Berkeley faculty, athletic department, and administration. We conduct scholarship interviews, throw parties for new Cal students, and encourage Cal Spirit!

Napa Valley Cal Alumni Club

Nevada | Cal Spirit of Las Vegas

Our mission is to advance and promote the interests of Cal by connecting alumni with each other and our alma mater through a variety of special events and programs for the over 2,100 Cal alumni in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.

New York | Cal Alumni Club of New York (CACNY)

We hold many events throughout the year, including game watching parties, athletic events with other Pac-12 schools, and student outreach programs.

Newman | Cal Newman Alumni

We are a group of Catholic alumni who gather for fellowship, support the student ministry of Newman Hall – Holy Spirit Parish, and organize trips to Cal football games.

Nor Cal Corps Alumni

The Nor Cal Corps Alumni Group is dedicated to supporting the University of California Berkeley’s mission of public service, specifically through the Cal Corps Public Service Center. We support students and Alumni working and volunteering within the social sector through events, networking socials, and fundraising. We welcome any alumni working and/or volunteering within the social service sector.

Northern C's (Redding)

We get together for a number of great events through out the year, which include dinners, guest speakers from the University, athletic events and much more.

Octet Alumni Club

We bring together generations of UC Men's Octet alumni who share in a tradition of vocal harmony, performance, and Cal spirit.

Orange County Cal Alumni Club

We enjoy various activities throughout the year, including dinners with guest speakers from Berkeley, community service projects, happy hours, welcoming new students to Berkeley, and Big Game Viewing Parties.

Oregon | Cal Alumni Club of Central Oregon

We are an informal group of Golden Bears from the Central Oregon area.

Oregon | Portland Oregon Cal Alumni Club

We serve alumni in the Portland metropolitan area and welcome new members.

Pappy's Boys

Pappy's Boys includes all freshmen, Rambler and varsity football players who played football for Pappy Waldorf from 1947 through the 1956 seasons. Widows are also included.

Peninsula | California Alumni Club of the Peninsula

We are primarily focused on supporting scholarships for students from the Peninsula. In addition, we aim to develop social and professional camaraderie among local Cal alums through events and get-togethers.

Pennsylvania | Cal Alumni Club of Philadelphia (Cal Philly)

The Cal experience in the City of Brotherly Love! We support the University through our annual new student reception, college fairs, the Alumni Leadership Scholarship award and other events. Also, join us for Cal sports viewings all season long and our Big Game party. Whether you are just passing through, in town for an advanced degree or here to stay for a while, we welcome you to our club!

Placer Cal Alumni Club

Our club is dedicated to student outreach, scholarship and communicating between alumni in the Placer County area, the Cal Alumni Association and the University.

Prytanean Alumnae

We are composed of alumnae of the Prytanean Women's Honor Society, the oldest collegiate women's honorary society in the United States, having been founded in 1901 on the Berkeley campus of the University of California.

Rossmoor | Cal Alumni Club of Rossmoor

We support an endowed scholarship, have dinner meetings, BBQs, and our annual Big Game Rally the Sunday before Big Game.

Sacramento | Cal Alumni Club of Sacramento

We offer a wide range of events & programs throughout the year—Alumni Scholar Interviews, New Student/Parent Reception, Cal-in-Sacramento, Cal-in-the-Community, California Grid Club (Golden Bear Football), Alumni Softball league, governmental relations, and more.

San Diego | UC Alumni Club of San Diego

We are dedicated to keeping the Bear Spirit bright and strong with Alumni Scholarship Awards, outreach to our local schools, Cal in the Community, the Annual Cal Speaker International Potluck and other social gatherings.

San Francisco | Cal Alumni Group of San Francisco

San Gabriel Valley Cal Alumni Club

Our club supports alumni who live and/or work in the San Gabriel Valley, which lies at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains north and east of downtown Los Angeles. The San Gabriel Valley includes the cities of Pasadena, Montebello, Rowland Heights, Claremont, and many others in between. We hold football viewing parties, interview Alumni Scholarship candidates, host a summer picnic for incoming Cal freshmen, and participate in various community service projects in the San Gabriel Valley and greater Los Angeles.

San Joaquin | Cal Club of San Joaquin County

We have a number of great events planned each year, which include faculty speakers, dinners, new student receptions and scholarship.

Santa Barbara | Cal Alumni Club of Santa Barbara

This club supports University of California, Berkeley alumni in Santa Barbara County. We are committed to maintaining strong ties through networking and outreach.

Santa Clara | UC Club of Santa Clara County (UCCSCC)

We are dedicated to keeping the Cal Spirit bright by endowing Alumni Scholarships. We have fun and stay connected to Cal through social gatherings—Oktoberfest dinner, wine tasting, pizza party and many more.

Solano County | Solano Cal Alumni

We are working to rebuild the Solano County alumni group. Our interests are plain and simple; we look forward to enjoying some fun times with fellow Cal alumni and reaching out to support the youth of our community as they embark on lifelong ventures that begin with a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

South Bay Cal Alumni Club

We encompass alumni in the South Bay area of Los Angeles which includes the cities of El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Hawthorne, Gardena and Lomita. Our main events and activities throughout the year include scholarship interviews, wine tasting, a bus trip to see Cal vs. USC basketball, a holiday party, wine tasting or dinner with a speaker and an occasional football viewing party.

South Bay Young Blues (SBYB)

South Bay Young Blues is based in the Silicon Valley/South Bay/Peninsula Area of California, and it's primarily a social club for young alumni of the University of California. Some of our activities include Happy Hour events, Cal football and basketball viewing parties, and mixers with other alumni clubs in the area.

Student Learning Center Alumni

We are alumni who served as tutors, mentors, instructors, and professional staff and/or utilized academic support services offered by the Student Learning Center (SLC) from 1973-2009. We strive to create an infrastructure of support that honors the SLC’s legacy of serving hundreds of thousands of students in meeting their academic, personal and professional goals.

Suitcase Clinic Alumni

We are the former volunteers of the Suitcase Clinic, a humanitarian organization that has offered free health and social services to the under served since 1989. This group will serve as a network of support for both alumni and current volunteers, championing the Clinic’s legacy of compassion, service, and advocacy.

Texas | Cal Alumni Club of Austin

Our group represents Cal alumni living in Austin, Texas.

Texas | Houston Alumni Club

We have spent the past 20+ years bringing together Cal alumni in the greater Houston area to promote Cal to local high school students, watch Golden Bear football games and retain our ties to the Bay Area from deep in the heart of Texas.

Tri-Valley Cal Alumni Club (Pleasanton Dublin San Ramon)

Tulare-Kings Cal Club

We are a group of alumni from Tulare and Kings Counties in the Central San Joaquin Valley whose focus is student outreach and recruitment.

Tuolumne County Alumni Club

We enjoy dinner meetings, picnic brunches, conducting interviews for CAA's Scholarship Program, and doing special projects at the Lair.

Our group represents Cal alumni living in Utah.

Veteran | Cal Armed Forces Alumni for Equity and Inclusion

By engaging and connecting Cal alumni through public service, Cal Armed Forces Alumni for Equity and Inclusion (CAFAEI) will develop a network of recruitment, retention and mentoring at Cal, whose purpose is to perpetuate cycles of empowerment and break cycles of poverty among those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
