We encompass alumni in the central San Joaquin Valley in Fresno, Madera, and Merced counties.
We serve the greater San Luis Obispo area with scholarship fundraising, events and programs for nearly 100 members.
We strive to create an expanding network of Cal Chicano/Latino alumni throughout the state, including international contacts, who are committed to maintaining ties with the larger Cal community, as well as provide valuable support to Cal's efforts in recruiting and graduating Chicano/Latino students.
Our group is for alumni who work in the entertainment industry in Southern California.
Established in 1989, we host dinner events, raise funds for scholarships, and participate in the New Student Reception in the spring.
We represent Cal alumni in the Los Angeles area.
We enjoy various activities throughout the year, including dinners with guest speakers from Berkeley, community service projects, happy hours, welcoming new students to Berkeley, and Big Game Viewing Parties.
We are dedicated to keeping the Bear Spirit bright and strong with Alumni Scholarship Awards, outreach to our local schools, Cal in the Community, the Annual Cal Speaker International Potluck and other social gatherings.
We participate in football viewing parties, counsel prospective Cal freshmen at the Greater Los Angeles New Student Reception, and help in various community service projects including beautification efforts at a local shelter for abused children.
We encompass alumni in the South Bay area of Los Angeles which includes the cities of El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Hawthorne, Gardena and Lomita. Our main events and activities throughout the year include scholarship interviews, wine tasting, a bus trip to see Cal vs. USC basketball, a holiday party, wine tasting or dinner with a speaker and an occasional football viewing party.
We are a group of alumni from Tulare and Kings Counties in the Central San Joaquin Valley whose focus is student outreach and recruitment.
