We are comprised of ninety singers (members) who are alumni from various campuses, faculty and staff, graduate students and friends of UC Berkeley.
Our group is dedicated to promoting the growth, improvement, and esteem of the Art Practice Department at UC Berkeley; to support and promote social and professional activities on behalf of the department for students, alumni and professionals; and to encourage educational activities for students, alumni and professionals.
We engage alumni from UC Berkeley in professional and fun networking opportunities as well as environmental philanthropy and volunteering activities that benefit the University.
We exist to support the USCA's mission to offer a quality, low-cost housing community to students who might not otherwise be able to afford an university education. We host co-op reunions where you can meet co-opers of all generations, and also have the opportunity to connect with and support today's co-opers.
We are open to all current and former UC Berkeley Student Parents. Our members include individuals who are parenting or have parented children during their time as a student at Cal. Our mission is to foster opportunities for social connections between alumni, for personal, career and lifelong learning, as well as to use our expertise and networks to enrich the experience of all current and former UC Berkeley student parents and their families.
Our mission is to restore the Bowles Hall experience in a restored Bowles Hall.
We are the official alumni club for LGBT alumni of Cal, coordinating with the LGBT services office on campus, awarding scholarships and participating in mentorship programs on campus.
By engaging and connecting Cal alumni through public service, Cal Armed Forces Alumni for Equity and Inclusion (CAFAEI) will develop a network of recruitment, retention and mentoring at Cal, whose purpose is to perpetuate cycles of empowerment and break cycles of poverty among those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
We represent over 2,600 former living Cal Band members, actively supporting the Cal Band, providing performance and social opportunities for members, training student officers, and preserving historical artifacts of the Cal Band.
We support the Cal Lightweight Crew in its competitive goals and to foster a broad community of current and former alumni, family, and other supporters of Cal Lightweight Crew.
We seek to bring together older local single alumni, faculty and friends by organizing activities designed to create an ongoing intellectual, social and supportive environment.
The general purpose of the group is to recruit, retain, mentor, and provide a network of opportunities for Cal Veterans and Military Affiliated Alumni in order to promote personal and professional advancement.
Our Goal is to formalize our current fundraising and participation efforts with Cal Women’s Rugby alumnae, as well as associated friends and family, to provide sustainability for the team and the University.
Our membership is open to all former Daily Cal staffers.
Our society is open to all UC Berkeley engineering alumni. Our mission is to foster opportunities for social connections between alumni, for personal, career and lifelong learning, and to use our expertise and networks to enrich the experience of all UC Berkeley engineering students and alumni.
We consist of alumnae of The California Golden Overtones; a student-run a cappella group spreading music and Cal spirit for over 40 years.
We encompass alumni from UC Jazz Ensembles.
We exist for the comaraderie and support of the Lair of the Golden Bear and also support CAA's Achievement Award and Leadership Scholarships.
We welcome all alumni who were a part of the Martial Arts Program at Cal.
We are a group of Catholic alumni who gather for fellowship, support the student ministry of Newman Hall – Holy Spirit Parish, and organize trips to Cal football games.
We bring together generations of UC Men's Octet alumni who share in a tradition of vocal harmony, performance, and Cal spirit.
Pappy's Boys includes all freshmen, Rambler and varsity football players who played football for Pappy Waldorf from 1947 through the 1956 seasons. Widows are also included.
We are composed of alumnae of the Prytanean Women's Honor Society, the oldest collegiate women's honorary society in the United States, having been founded in 1901 on the Berkeley campus of the University of California.
We support an endowed scholarship, have dinner meetings, BBQs, and our annual Big Game Rally the Sunday before Big Game.
South Bay Young Blues is based in the Silicon Valley/South Bay/Peninsula Area of California, and it's primarily a social club for young alumni of the University of California. The Souse Family gathers regularly, on the second Friday of the month to socialize at the Happy Hour event. The club also meets irregularly for other events like hikes, day at Raging Waters, comedy club night, and other things that are more fun in a group.
We are alumni who served as tutors, mentors, instructors, and professional staff and/or utilized academic support services offered by the Student Learning Center (SLC) from 1973-2009. We strive to create an infrastructure of support that honors the SLC’s legacy of serving hundreds of thousands of students in meeting their academic, personal and professional goals.
By our estimation, there are nearly 1,3000 alumni of CalPrep and CalSO alive today. Our goal is to form a self-sustaining organization that among other things:
1. allows these alums to stay connected with one another.
2. provides updates about the happenings of CalSO.
3. coordinate reunions for anniversaries and the like.
4. provide networking opportunities for alums and students.
5. facilitates fundraising to support CalSO.
