In its 19th year, OSP is the largest overnight experience program at UC Berkeley attracting nearly 800 participants each year. As a student-run program, we offer participants a highly unique student-to-student perspective on college life here at Cal.
Admitted Cal students (high school seniors who have been accepted to UC Berkeley) can get a taste for college life at UC Berkeley through the Overnight Stay Program—a 24-hour campus visit organized by Cal students of the Leadership Award Scholars Association.
Parents of student participants can participate in a concurrent program tailored to parents' interest, which includes panels of students, alumni, and current Cal parents, information sessions with financial aid, health and safety, and other campus resources.
For students the cost includes all meals, lodging, and program fees.
For parents, the cost includes all meals and program fees. Accommodations are NOT provided for parent participants.
