TLC provides scholars of The Achievement Award Program opportunities to further develop their leadership skills. TLC is governed by scholars, for scholars. Scholars work together to develop outreach opportunities, community service events, and social activities, as well as to assist with planning and facilitating meetings.
All The Achievement Award Program scholars can contribute to TLC activities and develop skills in outreach, marketing, donor relations, event planning, and community relations.
Vivian Lei
The President provides oversight and guidance to all cohort chairs and facilitates a common vision for the academic support and community service activities. S/he facilitates all TLC meetings and serves as the primary representative for the student group at special events.
Fong Lui
The Vice-President is responsible for ensuring that information is accurately and efficiently disseminated from TLC to the general TAAP body. Additionally, s/he is responsible for photo documenting all TAAP events and compiling the information into a year-end slide show.
Polly Wu
The Administrative Chair documents TLC meeting minutes and informs the general TAAP body of meeting times, locations, and agenda items. S/he is also responsible for overseeing the TLC budget and keeping other officers abreast of its status.
Wendy Wu
The Big Brother/Big Sister Chair is responsible for coordinating the matching of "Bigs" and "Littles" – participants in TAAP’s peer-to-peer mentorship program. In addition, the chair works to plan social events that promote community-building within the TAAP community.

Cohort Chairs are responsible for promoting participation in and enthusiasm for TAAP activities and events among the students in their respective cohort. Cohort Chairs are also responsible for planning cohort-specific activities that meet the academic and professional development needs of the students in their respective group.
