SARC is the Student Alumni Relations Council (SARC) at UC Berkeley—an organization of Cal students dedicated to nurturing a University-supportive mindset among the student body as a whole. By supporting and promoting the University and its hundreds of thousands of successful alumni, SARC’s efforts will help maintain Cal’s excellence for current and future students.

SARC is a coalition of major student entities on campus: ASUC Office of the President, Californians, Cal Greeks, Campaign for Berkeley Student Ambassadors, Leadership Award Scholar’s Association, Senior Gift Committee, Student Homecoming Team, and UC Rally Committee. The council is overseen and advised by the Cal Alumni Association with operational support from University Relations.

As the foremost supporters of the University of California, Berkeley, we strive to emulate the dedication of our alumni community in order to nurture a University-supportive mindset among the student body as a whole. By organizing communications efforts and hosting events that either involve working with alumni or highlighting their contributions to the campus, we will promote a lifelong relationship between future alumni among us and our University so that Cal may remain as excellent as it has in the past.
