QUESTIONS: 1. Can the Dead Sea be incorporated into the Jordan itinerary? We’ll be seeing so many ancient sites in Egypt, guests might like to trade a site in Jordan for the unique Dead Sea experience. 2. With the refugee situation in Jordan, can you help us arrange to leave the clothes we traveled with? I imagine it can be put to good use, & we’ll have more luggage space for shopping. If more people in the group participate, we can leave a collection that’s worth the effort of making the arrangement. . 3, No faculty traveling with this tour?
Hi William, Thank you for your questions. It is unlikely that the itinerary can be changed but I can certainly ask if it would be possible for you as an individual to try and experience the Dead Sea on your own. We can also certainly check in to see the best way to leave behind clothing for the refugees. Odysseys would be able to advise on this issue and put us in touch with local ground operators who will know the best way to ensure that anything left behind will go to those who need it. It is always our goal to have some Cal representation on these trips, for now we do not have anyone assigned to accompany this group. If/when we do we will update this webpage, so please check back for the most up-to-date information.
