Danielle D. Silveira ’11 is the marketing director at Saucey, an LA-based startup focused on alcohol delivery in the US. Prior to joining Saucey, she led the paid marketing team at Winc, a modern wine company based in Southern California.
Danielle is deeply passionate about transforming the lives of brilliant, motivated students from low-income families by giving them access to opportunities like mentoring, SAT preparation, and leadership training. After college, she began volunteering with organizations that make college access a reality for low-income students. In Los Angeles, she volunteers with Minds Matter to mentor students and get them into college. Her mentee of three years is now a sophomore at Harvard University.
Danielle’s free time is filled mostly with planning community-building activities for UC Berkeley alums. She is an active board member of the Cal Alumni of Los Angeles chapter, focusing on fundraising for The Kruttschnitt Aspire Scholarship Program. She also co-founded the Cal Bears in Tech networking organization to connect alums in the LA area who work in the tech industry.
Danielle is a proud Cal graduate—she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2011. While at Cal, she received The Leadership Award from CAA for her work on campus as a resident assistant and as a volunteer with the Suitcase Clinic.
