Ryan Waliany is the Founder and CEO of Kitchenbowl, a Seattle-based consumer startup that has reinvented the recipe format with step-by-step GIFs and photos. Kitchenbowl’s mobile apps have been featured by Apple as a “Best New App” on both the iPhone and Apple TV, and the company was also showcased at SXSW 2016 in the Future of Food pavilion.
Prior to Kitchenbowl, Ryan co-founded a performance marketing company (which he grew to 6M in revenue in under two years).
It was as a student at Berkeley that Ryan first caught the entrepreneurial bug. He raised capital and founded a video commerce platform called Hotswap, his first Internet venture. Through this experience, Ryan became passionate about entrepreneurship and empowering people to reach their full potentials.
Ryan holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
