Justin Hogenauer ’22

Justin Hogenauer ’22 is a dedicated advocate for the needs of his fellow Cal students. As a Cal Alumni Association (CAA) student director, Hogenauer represents the Cal student voice. He is a recipient of two CAA scholarships from The Leadership Award and The Achievement Award Program. Hogenauer is enrolled in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, and is double majoring in society and environment through the Rausser College of Natural Resources and business administration at Berkeley Haas.

Hogenauer previously served as Berkeley’s Residence Hall Assembly Vice President of Advocacy and Outreach and led the student governing board. He was also a student coordinator for the Cal Alumni Student Association’s Overnight Stay Program. As one of two student representatives in the Rausser College of Natural Resources Alumni Association, he actively supports alumni-student relationships. Hogenauer is also a Rausser College of Natural Resources peer advisor. Additionally, he completed a summer internship in 2019 at Space Camp Turkey as an international counselor.

Hogenauer was a Nav2Cal mentor this past summer, helping historically marginalized West Contra Costa high school seniors successfully navigate the UC Berkeley application. This fall, he will be a NavCal mentor.
