Interim Executive Director
Kirk Tramble ’93, MBA

A spirited Cal alumnus, Kirk brings to the Cal Alumni Association over 30 years of corporate experience at companies like Chevron, Oracle, Microsoft, and Apple, along with nearly 10 years of non-profit leadership, including six years on the CAA Board and three years with the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Silicon Valley. He earned his B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from Cal in 1993 and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. In his professional life, Kirk has gained extensive experience working at Chevron, Oracle, Microsoft, Apple, Nitro Inc., and, most recently, Kizata LLC.

Kirk is passionate about sharing Cal’s many resources and events with other alumni, serving as President of the Black Engineering and Science Alumni Club.

Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Tang, DBA

Dr. Tang serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Cal Alumni Association at the University of California, Berkeley. He is responsible for helping the Association increase the reach and impact of its programs to alumni, students, and other stakeholders in a financially sustainable manner. Prior to CAA, Dr. Tang held finance leadership roles, including CFO of Comcast Business Services – California Region, and Director of Marketing-Finance at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Tang is a certified public accountant and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy and information systems from Brigham Young University. He received a doctorate in business from Georgia State University.

General Manager, Lair of the Golden Bear
Cathy Connelly

In January 2025, Cathy was named General Manager of the Lair of the Golden Bear. Cathy served as the Lair’s interim general manager for the previous eleven months. In her previous role as senior director, Pinecrest operations, Cathy oversaw Lair reservations, special groups, camper experience, marketing, and camper communications. Prior to 2008, Cathy worked in the gift and greeting card industry as a national sales director, growing sales and developing new business through national gift retailers, book stores, and specialty shops. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Long Beach, and is a lifelong Lair camper.

Senior Director, Human Resources
Jenny Robles, SPHR

Jenny Robles serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources, bringing extensive experience in human resources management within the higher education sector. In her role, she oversees all HR operations, ensuring alignment with the mission and strategic goals. Prior to joining the Cal Alumni Association, Jenny held HR leadership roles at BroadVision, Walker Interactive Systems, and CompAnalysis.
