In Southern California, alumni from all walks of life send a strong welcome message to new students
Southern California chapters hosted four Summer Welcome Parties over two weekends for students and alumni. Incoming students engaged with alumni and current students in Zoom breakout rooms, and enjoyed Cal Band music and Cal-themed trivia games.
From fight songs to face masks, the Cal Alumni Club of Chicago preps incoming students for Berkeley
At the Cal Alumni Club of Chicago (CACC) Summer Welcome Party, alumni as well as incoming and current students discussed student life at Berkeley, learned fun Cal facts, and sang the Cal fight song! Incoming and current students were then placed in Zoom breakout rooms to meet their fellow Cal Bears from the Midwest. In addition, the current ASUC president and two staff members gave an overview of ASUC and how to get involved. The CACC Board sent Cal party favors to the students and non-board member alumni who attended the event, which included a Cal face mask and bag.
