Judy Kutulas, professor emerita of history and gender and sexuality studies, retired after 35 years of teaching U.S. history, gender studies, and popular culture at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She plans to spend her time finishing a manuscript on depictions of motherhood in sitcoms, as well as further indulging her hobby, pottery. Her last book, After Aquarius Dawned, looked at popular culture in the 1970s, coinciding with her time spent in Berkeley. Some of the research and photographs came from the Bancroft Library.
