College Prep Camp

June 7 – 10, 2026 (Sunday – Wednesday)

A blue and gold logo with the silhouette of a bear looking to the right, and the word "LAIR" at the bottom. The general outlined shape of the logo is a tent.

This program is designed for rising seniors in the Class of 2027 who want a strong start on the college application process. Students will get clear direction on college search, personal statements, and supplemental essays, along with individualized feedback from our experienced counselors and admissions professionals. They’ll leave camp with real progress made and their biggest questions answered.

And because it is the Lair, we’re building in plenty of downtime too. Students can swim, hang out with new friends, play games, and enjoy the mountains while balancing work with fun.

Bonus: Friends who attend together each receive a 10 percent discount, even twin siblings!

If you have questions and/or would like to schedule a 30-min. conversation with our Senior Admissions Advisor, Ken Gonsalves, please complete this short intake form and Ken will reach out to you.

More About College Prep Camp

In the College Search Program, students get to build a smart, personalized college list without the usual stress spiral. We break down what colleges are really looking for, help students identify campuses that fit their vibe, and turn the whole search process into something that feels less like guesswork and more like clarity.

The Writing Program is where the magic happens. Students jump into their Common App essays, UC prompts, and scholarship responses with guided workshops, real-time feedback, and plenty of creative sparks. We help them find their voice, shape their stories, and write essays that actually sound like them, not a robot, not their parents, and definitely not ChatGPT.

By the end of camp, students walk away with major progress on their applications, a clear plan for the rest of the process, and a confidence boost that actually sticks. Plus, they’ll pick up a few new friends and bragging rights for being “ahead of the game” before senior year even starts.

Booking & Accommodations

The cost of College Prep Camp is $1,795.00.
Tax will be itemized separately and found on your Lair reservation when your booking is confirmed on March 16.

Register with a friend and each student receives a 10% discount!

Students may book any open tent at registration. After sign up, we’ll take care of assigning campers together. If a student is attending with a same gender friend, we’ll place them in the same tent, no worries, no tent-draft drama.

When attending with friends, each family should still create their own account and register their own student. In the Special Request box, just jot down the friend they want to bunk with. Once we have that info, we’ll apply the 10 percent friend discount to both accounts and make sure the duo (or trio) ends up tented together, swapping stories instead of wandering around trying to find each other in the woods.

If you have questions and/or would like to schedule a 30-min. conversation with our Senior Admissions Advisor, Ken Gonsalves, please complete this short intake form and Ken will reach out to you.
