2025 Rates
Your camp rate includes tent cabin accommodations, meals, use of facilities, supervised age-group programs, and all activities unless otherwise indicated. Taxes not included.
All-Inclusive Rates for Family Camp
As in 2024, added to the rates below will be a Fire Assessment Fee that goes specifically to cover the skyrocketing costs of fire insurance. This fee is $14/day per camper. For sessions priced by tent at Camps Blue and Gold, this rate is approximated to $14/day per camper. Specific rates and more details on this fee are below.
Each of our three camps—Blue, Gold, and Oski—has its own staff and facilities, including a common dining hall, pool, sports courts, art area, and Cub Corral (our enclosed kids’ playground). All camps serve three hearty, family-style meals each day. Please note that for 2025, rates do not include taxes. Tax will be itemized separately and found on your Lair reservation when your booking is confirmed on March 13.

Camp Oski Family Camp Rates
Camp Oski is the smallest of our three camps, affording a more intimate experience than Blue or Gold. With less emphasis on sports and competition, it is also more young family-friendly. Oski's cabins are set in tent circles, promoting a sense of camaraderie and community. When the sun goes down, parents are able to relax and unwind around a campfire located just feet from their sleeping children.
If booking one of our winterized cabins (complete with its own bathroom, heat, fridge, microwave, etc.) there will be an additional surcharge added to your camping fees. Each cabin also has a minimum total charge (from $4,200 - $4,600, depending on the week), so if your fees fall below this minimum, an additional charge will be applied to meet it. NOTE: summer stays do NOT include linens or bedding, so please bring your own.
A Fire Assessment Fee of $14/day/camper and taxes will be added to your total Camp Oski invoice. You can learn more about the Fire Assessment Fee below.

More About Our Fire Assessment Fee
Wildfires have become a very real threat to homes and businesses throughout California and other states. Fire insurance rates have skyrocketed, and some insurance carriers are dropping policyholders, leaving the California wildfire insurance market altogether, which means fewer options to obtain affordable fire insurance.
Rate increases have greatly impacted the Lair, and we have struggled to find sustainable solutions. In addition, like most other businesses in California, all our other costs also continue to rise. Food, propane, supplies, maintenance, utilities, and wages have all increased, although fire insurance costs have seen the most significant and unpredictable changes. To help cover this cost, the Lair will be assessing a Fire Assessment Fee, which will be added to camper booking fees and go specifically towards the cost of the Lair’s fire insurance coverage.
Ready to Attend Camp?
Enjoy daily staff-led activities—or find adventure on your own. However you choose to spend your days at the Lair, by the time departure day arrives, you’ll have fallen in love with our special corner of the Sierra Nevada.
