Cal Black Alumni Association Hosts Inaugural Black Alumni Gala & Awards Ceremony

On December 7, 2024, the Cal Black Alumni Association proudly hosted its Inaugural Black Alumni Gala and Awards Ceremony at the Henry J. Kaiser Center.

Under the theme Black Opulence: A Winter’s Eve, the evening was a breathtaking celebration of the rich history, achievements, and enduring legacy of Cal Black Alumni—visionaries, leaders, and trailblazers across industries.

Alumni spanning generations—from the Class of 1961 to the Class of 2024—gathered to honor one another as changemakers shaping the future and paving the way for those to come. More than just an event, the gala was a powerful reunion of shared history, pride, and boundless possibilities. From the moment guests arrived, the energy in the room was electric—a testament to the strength, spirit, and impact of our community. Your presence and engagement made the evening truly unforgettable, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
