Welcome to Your Cal Alumni Student Association

Sponsored by the Cal Alumni Association, the Cal Alumni Student Association (CASA) is the flagship student group at UC Berkeley for alumni and students to connect with one another. We offer an array of opportunities for students to become leaders within their community and to connect with Cal alumni. CASA aims to inspire students to become loyal and engaged alumni through volunteerism, community-building, and philanthropy. We are a community of engaged student leaders that support the mission of the Cal Alumni Association and the University of California, Berkeley.

Alumni: Volunteer with CASA

Programming

Legacy Night brings together top student leaders on campus to connect with each other and with alumni who are leaders in their respective fields. Students can enjoy light hors d’oeuvres as they learn from guest speakers and find opportunities to connect with these eminent Cal alumni.
The program invites prospective students to various panels, resource presentations, opportunities to sit in on classes, and a Big C hike to better experience what student life is like.
Reunite with fellow Overnight Stay Program attendees and get involved with CASA. Incoming Cal students are invited to join returning students and alumni for snacks, beverages, games, and more.
Top Dog with Top Dogs is an alumni and student career-networking event that invites students to connect with Cal alumni from a variety of professional fields. Alums share Cal stories, tips, and professional advice over a Berkeley culinary favorite: Top Dog!
Big Bear Little Bear (BBLB) is a mentorship program for students of all years to learn and mentor other students. Whether it’s about academics, career paths, or just life at Cal, undergraduates can gain valuable knowledge from other Bears through BBLB.
Speak with some of our distinguished Cal alumni during Coffee Chats with CASA. Small-group coffee chats occur monthly on Saturdays at local coffee shops.
