The Achievement Award Program
The Achievement Award Program (TAAP) provides high-achieving, community-minded students from low-income and first generation backgrounds with resources to complete their undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. This scholarship comes with holistic programming to support TAAP scholars in their personal, academic, and professional growth. Participation in this programming is mandatory and will connect TAAP scholars to a community of Alumni Scholars, Cal alumni, and staff to help them successfully navigate Cal.

Application Process
Eligible students go to calalumni.awardspring.com create an account, submit your general application, and apply for the TAAP scholarship. The chart below outlines the timeline for each phase in the application process:
