Senior Director of Development

Jennifer Mora has been with the Cal Alumni Association (CAA) since 2007. She oversees fundraising efforts at CAA, including the strategic planning and execution of campaigns, donor events, and development communications efforts. Prior to joining CAA, Jennifer spent five years at Torme and Company as an Account Supervisor working with non-profit and consumer clients. She has more than 10 years of direct agency experience focused on developing and launching public relations campaigns for clients including United Way of the Bay Area, the Marin County Fair, and the City of Los Angeles’ Recycling Program. Jennifer began her career at Edelman Worldwide, working in the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. In addition, she worked at the Los Angeles Conservation Corps where she was responsible for securing local and industry media placements, as well as planning special events and community beautification projects.

Jennifer received her B.A. in Chicana and Chicano studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her Masters of Public Administration from Sonoma State University. She currently serves on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District VII Board of Directors and is a dedicated volunteer in her community.

Associate Director, Annual Fund

Originally from New York, Rachel joined the Cal Alumni Association in August 2016. Most recently, she was Development Manager for Girls on the Run of Los Angeles. Previously, she was Assistant Director of Annual Giving at The New School in New York City, where she spent three years in annual fund and alumni relations positions. Rachel holds a B.A. in political science from Purchase College (SUNY) and earned her M.A. in international affairs at The New School.

Gift Management and Stewardship Analyst
Lawrence Lawler | 510.900.8204

Lawrence Lawler joined CAA in April 2013. He has over 10 years of extensive experience in fundraising, gift and fund administration, event planning, donor stewardship and cultivation. Prior to joining CAA, he worked in development, alumni relations, and external relations at UC Berkeley in University Relations and the College of Environmental Design. He also held several positions at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL)—including collaborative efforts with Bay Area K–12 schools, historically black colleges and universities, minority institutions, and summer abroad programs with underrepresented students from Puerto Rico.

Lawrence studied electrical engineering and computer science at San Jose State University. He has been an advocate for education and philanthropy, and served as a mentor and leader for multiple education programs at UC and LBNL.
