Marsha Roberts

Marsha Roberts, M.D. is Chief of Radiology at Kaiser Permanente for the Diablo Service Area, where she oversees radiology operations for two hospitals and seven outpatient imaging centers.  She is also an Elected Director on The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) Board of Directors serving Northern California (NCAL) physicians who work at Kaiser Permanente. 

Marsha is an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and closing the equity gap in education and healthcare. She recognizes the importance of providing resources to underrepresented and low-income college students to boost matriculation and graduation rates.  She established a Cal Corporate Alumni Committee for Kaiser employees whose mission is to support CAA Alumni Scholars through fundraising, scholarship reading, and student engagement. She is also a member of the Tri-Valley Cal Alumni Club.

Marsha earned her B.A. in molecular biology from UC Berkeley in 1990. She went on to earn her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, San Diego, where she was chief resident, and did a fellowship at UCSD in interventional radiology. She practiced diagnostic and interventional radiology at John Muir Hospital, Walnut Creek and Concord campuses, before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2011.
