UC Berkeley students, alums, friends, and family came together on June 26, 2022 for the 52nd annual San Francisco Pride Parade. Hosted by the Cal Alumni Association (CAA) in partnership with the Gender Equity Resource Center (GenEq), the Cal contingency at the parade was a celebration of love, diversity, and a commitment in the fight for universal equity.
250+ UC Berkeley friends, alumni, and current students marched in the contingency along the Market Street parade route.
Eric Manzo ’21 sported a shirt with the motto “Fiat Love,” given to all participants.
Marchers brought their Cal spirit and energy, and had the opportunity to make signs to carry along with Berkeley pride flags and cheer cards.
Cal Alumni Association staff Caitlin LaFleur and Marifel Verlohr drove the California gold truck leading the contingent.
The Cal Alumni Association is proud to celebrate our diverse and inclusive community of Golden Bears in the Bay Area and around the world.
