James Robinson
James Robinson is Leonard D. Schaeffer Professor of Health Economics in the School of Public Health at the University of California at Berkeley and the Director of the Berkeley Center for Health Technology. Professor Robinson’s research focuses on the biotechnology, medical device, digital health, insurance, and health care delivery sectors. He has published three books and 150 papers in scientific and policy journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Health Affairs. He teaches classes on the economics of innovation, health insurance, health care payment methods, and the life sciences industry.
