Thanks to the generosity of more than 18,000 alums, Alumni House has been dedicated to the service of the university since 1954, preserving a bond of association and friendship among members of the university community. Located in the heart of the bustling UC Berkeley campus, Alumni House is an unexpected oasis of tranquility, a perfect and versatile place for small and large events alike, from tailgates to weddings, this Cal campus event venue hosts conferences, seminars, and everything in between.
The Facilities
Alumni House’s contemporary design features walls of brick, concrete, glass, and steel. Its distinctive rooms and large outdoor patio make it a full-service on-campus venue for gatherings of any size, from intimate banquets to large conferences and weddings. There is convenient, nearby parking and a full-service kitchen available.

Getting Here
Our Location: Alumni House is located on the south side of the UC Berkeley campus, east of the Haas Pavilion, north of Zellerbach Hall, and southwest of Dwinelle Hall. Driving directions to 1 Alumni House, Berkeley, CA 94720.
The nearest off-campus intersection is Bancroft Way and Dana Street, which is just downhill from the intersection of Telegraph Ave and Bancroft Way.
On BART: Take the train to the Downtown Berkeley station, then make your way east onto campus. Walking directions from BART.
Parking: Public parking near Alumni House includes the RSF Garage, Telegraph Channing Garage, and other UC Berkeley parking lots/garages. See a full list of public parking options.
Campus Guests: Campus departments can make prior arrangements with UC Berkeley Parking and Transportation for visitor permits to park near Alumni House in the RSF Garage or the Haas Lot.
