Now booking our year-round cabins for cozy fall and winter weekends at the Lair.

The Lair Auction is Coming Soon!

Opening on October 18 and running through October 24, 2024, the Lair of the Golden Bear’s virtual auction offers a wide variety of exciting items including a rare, once in a lifetime lunch with UC Berkeley’s very own Chancellor Rich Lyons! Auction items include one-of-a-kind Cal Athletics team experiences and memorabilia, vacation getaways, camp artwork, VIP seats at the Lair, and so much more.

Proceeds from the auction will be used to upgrade the lighting and sound systems in all three camps.

Welcome, New Campers!

Discover what Lair campers have known for generations: this is a magical place where you will connect and recharge under tall pine trees and gorgeous blue skies. Oski Year-Round Cabins

The Lair has fifteen cabins for year-round use at Camp Oski. Each cabin sleeps up to six guests with a queen bed, bunk bed, and two single beds in the loft. Cabins have their own private bathroom, heat, a mini-fridge, and more. Join us for one of our fall or winter weekends, and enjoy a cozy stay!

Summer Family Camp

With a backyard of incomparable beauty and stellar staff-led programming for campers of all ages, the Lair of the Golden Bear is the perfect place to make family memories. By the time departure day arrives, you will have fallen in love with our special corner of the Sierra Nevada—and you will be counting down the days until you return next summer.

Lair staff applications for summer 2025 will open in November 2024! Working at the Lair, staffers have the opportunity to impact kids and families, and by extension make an impact on the world. In addition, staffers will make lifelong friends and have opportunities to network with our amazing campers.

TAAP Scholars take on the Lair

Last summer, an incoming cohort of The Achievement Award Program (TAAP) Scholars and Alumni Scholars Program staff traveled to Pinecrest for a weekend at the Lair of the Golden Bear. The result—a weekend of bonding, hikes to the lake, sunshine, and of course, s’mores.

Work at the Lair

Lair staff applications will go live in November 2024, so spread the word to those college students in your life who want to have the SUMMER OF THEIR LIVES! We seek creative, hard working, and team-oriented students from all colleges. Interviews will be held via Zoom.
