Give to Endowments

If you wish to donate to a specifically-endowed TAAP or Leadership Award scholarship, please give by mail or by phone. Please include the name of the fund and the fund number. If needed, email development@alumni.berkeley.edu for clarification on fund names/numbers.

Securities

Gift Planning

Your planned gift to the Cal Alumni Association establishes your legacy at Cal while ensuring the continued growth of our alumni association and alma mater. Planned gifts offer creative ways to simultaneously achieve your philanthropic, financial, estate, and tax planning goals. There are many vehicles through which your assets can be given, including charitable gift annuities, donor-advised funds, IRA charitable rollover, living trusts, and more. Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Please visit your DAF’s website to submit your gift recommendation. If you see a selection of UC Berkeley options listed on your DAF’s site:

• Search for “UC Berkeley Foundation” or by the EIN 94-6090626.
• If you see multiple options for UC Berkeley Foundation, you may select one tied to the program, school or college that you wish to support.
• If you don’t see an option for the program, school or college you wish to support, don’t worry. Your gift will be directed as you instruct in the text field provided on your DAF’s grant recommendation form.

Here is some additional key information you’ll need to provide:

• The amount of your gift
• The name of the particular campus fund or campus unit that you’d like to support (please be as specific as possible)
• Checks must be made payable to the “UC Berkeley Foundation” and mailed to the address below:

TAAP Diversity Scholarship

All TAAP Diversity Scholarship funding is directly administered by CAA. This program supports low-income, underrepresented minority students. To give to TAAP Diversity Scholarship, you can make a donation online or print the online donation form. Ensure your check is made payable to “Cal Alumni Association” and add “TAAP Diversity Scholarship” or “TAAP DS” in the memo line of the check. Have your contribution mailed to:
