Ways to Give
Thank you for your support of the Cal Alumni Association (CAA)! We are grateful for your dedication to CAA’s mission and all you do to deepen connections between alumni, students, and the greater Cal community.
CAA is closed from December 23, 2024, through January 1, 2025. If you’d like to make a gift and receive a tax benefit for 2024, please use one of the following options:
Give online and receive a receipt immediately:
Give now and you will receive your gift confirmation and receipt immediately via email. Your gift must be made before midnight on December 31 to be considered a 2024 donation.
To make a gift by mail or fax:
Please print the giving form. Instructions are included at the top right of the form. The UC Berkeley Foundation provides fiduciary services to CAA. Please ensure your check is made payable to “UC Berkeley Foundation” or “UCBF” so that it can be honored by the bank.
Please add the fund’s name to the memo line of the check. Some of CAA’s funds include:
- The CAA Fund
- The Alumni Chapters
- The Lair Annual Fund
- California Magazine
- Cal Discoveries Travel.
Date the check December 31 or earlier. Your envelope must be postmarked no later than December 31. Please mail your contribution to:

For further inquiries about making a donation before the year’s end, please visit give.berkeley.edu. This site will provide you with addresses, taxpayer identification information, and the opportunity to make a credit card donation online until midnight on December 31. Please note that credit card gifts must be charged in 2024 to be considered 2024 contributions.
If you are interested in making a gift of stock, please call 510.642.6791 as soon as possible. It often takes several days at year-end to affect a stock transfer, and stock must be credited to UC Berkeley’s account by December 31 to qualify as a 2024 gift.
