The Achievement Award Program
22nd Annual Recognition Celebration
In 1999, The Achievement Award Program (TAAP) was created to support high-achieving students with significant financial need, ensuring their ability to succeed at UC Berkeley and beyond. In the years since, the scholarship has served hundreds of outstanding scholars, the majority of whom are underrepresented and first-generation college students.
TAAP Scholars face and overcome academic and personal challenges at Cal. In their careers after graduation, TAAP alumni use their ambition and community-mindedness to positively change the world around them.
On November 2, 2021, the Cal Alumni Association will host The Achievement Award Program 22nd Annual Recognition Celebration in honor of our TAAP Scholars. This event will welcome Alumni and students back to Alumni House for a cocktail hour featuring wines from CAA’s Graduate Wine Collective followed by dinner celebrating of our TAAP Scholars.
