We would like to invite you to our annual Work Weekends. This is an adults-only volunteer weekend in late May and early June where valued members of the Lair community get a behind-the-scenes look at the Lair and help us get camp ready for the summer. This is a fun and rewarding weekend, full of hard work to give all three camps a big push to be ready for hosting campers all summer long. Work Weekends will be May 17-19 and May 31 – June 2, 2024.
We’ll work, play, work, eat, work, and have some fun together. The weekend begins Friday evening at 5:00 pm with a welcome mixer, followed by a hearty Lair dinner. After breakfast on Saturday morning, we’ll begin the hard work, which includes deep cleaning, mulching, sticking, painting, hauling, raking, rail splitting, and other miscellaneous tasks that need to get done. We’ll break for lunch and work till Saturday’s evening mixer and dinner. Sunday we’ll get up and have breakfast and work till lunch.

Note: this weekend is for adults only. Young adults, 18 or older, are welcome to come if they are willing to work!
