Clint Chao is the co-founder and general partner of Moment Ventures, a Palo Alto, California based early-stage technology venture capital firm. Prior to Moment, he was a general partner of Formative Ventures and has previously held numerous startup sales, marketing, and business development roles.

Clint serves on the Parent Executive Board of UC Irvine and is a board advisor for the Diamante Scholars Program for Diablo Valley College. Clint previously served as president and board member of the Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) and co-chair of the Menlo School Annual Fund.

Clint received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley. He and his wife Allison ’86 live in Menlo Park and have two daughters. All family members are still waiting for their invitation to attend the Rose Bowl.
