Greg Ginsburg

Greg Ginsburg is a retired senior executive from the consumer products industry who has held leadership positions at Clorox, Clif Bar, and SmartSweets (a TPG company) in product supply and sustainability. Prior to working in that industry, he spent eighteen years in the chemical business, holding leadership positions in sales, finance, and operations. He is part of a three-generation Cal family, having matriculated in 1984 with a degree in ecological biology. He received his MBA from CSUH in 1999 and has completed programs at the Stanford Executive Business School for Supply Chain Strategy and the Wharton West Business Leadership Program.  

He is passionate about job growth and has been on the board of and a consultant for Inner City Advisors (ICA), a company that is focused on job creation in the inner city, for which he was named Advisor of the Year in 2013. His board experience includes the aforementioned ICA, Firebrand Artisan Breads, Surplus Service, Inc., and Salesian College Preparatory High School (where he is also teaching and coaching!). You’ll find him on the hardwood floor a lot these days, as he coaches both club and high school basketball and volleyball.
