“Becoming a Berkeley Changemaker”: The Cal Alumni Association has partnered with UC Berkeley to introduce Cal alumni and student communities to the groundbreaking, interdisciplinary Berkeley Changemaker™ curriculum. What is the Berkeley Changemaker?
Berkeley Changemaker is a way to codify an essential part of what UC Berkeley stands for, and judging from early feedback may provide a future-oriented narrative that our campus can rally behind, humanists and scientists alike. Its curriculum seeks to activate our undergraduates’ passions and help them develop a sharper sense of who they want to be and how to make that happen.

How Students Can Get Involved
“The Berkeley Changemaker: A Discovery Experience (L&S 12)” is offered remotely this summer to incoming students. The course is team-taught by many of Berkeley’s most distinguished faculty, representing sixteen departments and seven schools.
