As a RecWell member, you’ll receive access to:

  • 2 Facilities: Recreational Sports Facility and Memorial Stadium Fitness Center
  • 3 Swimming pools
  • 2 outdoor tracks
  • One of the largest weight rooms in the Bay Area
  • Dozens of group exercise classes per week
  • Hundreds of pieces of cardio equipment
  • Racquetball courts for raquetball, handball, badminton, squash, and tennis
  • Basketball and volleyball courts
  • Locker rooms (men’s, women’s, and universal)

Berkeley Community Access

While Berkeley RecWell memberships are designated for UC Berkeley faculty, staff, emeriti, retirees, and graduates, members of the broader community are welcome to purchase the following: Golden Bear Rec Center (GBRC) and Strawberry Canyon Recreation Area (SCRA) Pools, and participate in personal training sessions, instructional fitness classes, Martial Arts classes, and Cal Adventures equipment rentals.
