Run for California 5K Run/Walk

Are you ready to rock your Cal spirit and Run for California?

Last year, more than 700 Cal alumni, students, and friends around the world participated in the virtual Berkelium 5K Run/Walk.

This year, the Cal Alumni Association (CAA) is partnering with Cal Athletics to bring you Run for California, powered by Weatherford BMW. Run or walk the 5K at your own pace, anywhere in the world, on or before October 3.

Registration

We encourage family and friends to register as well! To ensure you receive your t-shirt by October 3, sign up by September 20.

CAA and Cal Athletics continue to prioritize the health and safety of our Cal community. Although we cannot physically come together for this event, the Cal spirit will live on—because we are together even when we are apart.

Contests

Get your running shoes, Cal gear, and camera ready! We are hosting two photo contests on Instagram. Winners of the “Most Cal-Spirited Run” photo contest will receive a $100 gift card from Sports Basement. Winner of the “Beary-est Family/Household” contest will receive a prize from Weatherford BMW and Visit Berkeley.
