Rise Up, Bears
The Cal Alumni Association (CAA) and Cal Athletics present “Rise Up, Bears,” a virtual Hoops Party and Black History Month celebration. This year’s event featured a conversation between CEO of the Dallas Mavericks Cynthia (Cynt) Marshall ’81, Cal Men’s Basketball alum Jason Gant ’06, Cal Women’s Basketball alumni Renee Wright-Davis ’06 and Alexis Gray-Lawson ’10, and Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas, Cal’s Associate Athletics Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Justice.
Also, hear from Athletics Director Jim Knowlton, Women’s Basketball Head Coach Charmin Smith, CAA Executive Director Susie Cohen Crumpler, and a visit from Oski!
