Cal for All is a speaker series aimed at creating a more inclusive alumni community. Cal for All brings Berkeley alumni from diverse backgrounds and Cal Alumni Association (CAA) Alumni Chapter leaders together to discuss diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice (DEIBJ). This series offers a unique opportunity to connect with other alums, exchange best practices, and learn from our speakers about their efforts to promote DEIBJ values in their work and across the Cal community.

Each Cal for All event is curated to provide an inclusive and supportive environment where alumni from all backgrounds can network, engage, and learn. This is a chance to connect with fellow Cal alums, share your experiences, and make a lasting impact on the Cal experience.

Creating lasting change requires collaboration across industries, communities, and generations. UC Berkeley’s visionary leaders and trailblazing alumni are exploring ways innovation, sustainability, and equity can drive a better future.

Dr. Yvette Gullatt ’88, M.A. ’94, Ph.D. ’05 joins Cal for All for a special fireside chat with host Cathy Han ’01 during Homecoming Weekend. Dr. Gullatt is Vice President for Graduate and Undergraduate Affairs, Vice Provost for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Chief Diversity Officer for the University of California system. She will reflect on her journey at Berkeley, her vision for the future of education, and the leadership strategies shaping a more inclusive and sustainable world. Sharing her insights on equity and diversity in the UC system, Dr. Gullatt will explain how her Berkeley education and experiences prepared her for this unique leadership role.

A panel of distinguished alumni, who embody UC Berkeley’s commitment to driving positive local and global change, will share their professional experiences—from economic development to community building to global philanthropy.
