See the highlights of Kenya’s cosmopolitan capital city, Nairobi, including the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre.
Stay at Amboseli National Park in the shadow of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, known for its large elephant population and wide, dry plains teeming with wildlife.
Visit a Maasai village.
In Tanzania, stay at Lake Manyara National Park with its abundant birdlife and diverse ecosystems, and enjoy several game drives in the park.

wildebeest migration.
In Kenya stay for three nights in a tented camp on the Masai Mara, a continuation of the Serengeti, and enjoy prime game-viewing opportunities in this premier game reserve.

What to expect: These trips often travel by motor coach, ship, or train. Touring days may include full-day motor coach excursions or extended periods of standing and walking during city tours, museum visits, and/or outdoor activities. Travelers should be able to board transportation, walk over sometimes-uneven terrain, and climb a few flights of stairs, occasionally without handrails or assistance. Elevators are not always available. Outings last 2–4 hours most days.

Suitable for: Travelers who are able to comfortably walk two to four miles, or 4,600–6,900 steps, each day.
