Class Secretary Dick Carter read the notice in the Winter issue that California is going to transition Class Notes to an online-only version. He understands that the magazine is still in the process of making this change, and it has not been defined how much longer the notes will be in the print edition. He did not receive any notes for this issue, but if classmates want to provide updates for the next print issue, he encourages everyone to send them to him. He also wanted to thank everyone who has sent him notes over the last 53 years. He said the notes have been an opportunity for him to stay in touch with old friends and make new ones, and he appreciates everyone who has participated.

Jualynne Dodson, Ph.D. ’84, writes: “The HistoryMakers (thehistorymakers.org) has produced a digital conversation with me about my life and significant achievements. The materials will be placed in the Library of Congress. It has taken our country too long to begin including African descendants’ contributions to the ‘foundational core’ of this country. Now that it is beginning, I wish to share my participation in that reality to extend the knowledge to additional communities.”
