One son is a USC graduate. Sorry. After more than 40 years in corporate communications and retail, I escaped a year ago, health mostly intact. I have earned no awards or recognition of any kind, hence the modesty. I spend my days writing letters of piercing insight to the enemies of democracy and locating the best Caesar salads in the Bay Area. I got more out of Berkeley than it’s ever gotten out of me.”
