Dianne Chipps Bailey has been selected as the new chair of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute (WPI) Council. WPI is a program of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Stella Ngai is the chief campus counsel for UC Merced. She advises on a wide range of matters affecting faculty, students, and staff, including employment, business transactions, academic affairs, research, and student affairs. Stella is the first female Asian American chief campus counsel in UC history. In 2018, Stella was appointed by the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California to serve as a member of the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation. She was the 2021 Commission Chair.
