August 13 - 16, 2024: 3 nights!

Raise a glass and toast your summer with a vacation like no other!

The Lair’s Executive Chef, David Wiegel, invites you to a scrumptious weekend experience at the Lair of the Golden Bear.

This adults-only program includes gourmet meals with wine pairings, cooking classes, arts & crafts, yoga, and plenty of free time for visiting Pinecrest Lake, lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful Sierra Nevada. Bring a friend or just bring yourself and make new friends in this warm and welcoming environment. Rest, rejuvenate, and come home with a new zest for healthy home entertaining… and a full belly!

This session takes place at Camp Oski in 2024.

You’ll have the option to stay in a regular Lair tent, or for an additional fee, you can elevate your experience and stay in a year-round cabin that includes a private bathroom, mini-fridge, and heat (no linens for either option).

Meet our Executive Chef

David Wiegel is a 15 year veteran of the food service industry. Starting out in food trucks, he has worked in a variety of restaurants and with everything from sushi to Mediterranean cuisine. David has held numerous chef positions including Executive Chef at Alchemy Cafe in Murphys. David puts an emphasis on using bold new flavors in classic dishes.

Join David for his cooking demos and learn some tips and tricks along with tastings.
