Devin Fei-Fan Tau (B.S., Business Administration, 1997), independent director and producer, is pleased to announce an option on the film rights to Jen L. Hanson’s (B.S. Mass Communications, 1994) speculative fiction novel, “Sensored Souls.” The sci-fi thriller, “The Gallery,” will be Tau’s fourth feature film, following the thriller-suspense “Half Sisters,” to be released in 2023. Abel Guillen ’97 MPP ’01 has been named Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond headquartered at the California Department of Education. Previously, his public service track record includes serving as a Trustee for the Peralta Community Colleges and an Oakland City Council member. He looks forward to gathering with classmates and fraternity brothers this fall at the 30th anniversary gala celebrating the founding of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity Inc. To date, the fraternity alumni have raised over $20,000 to support first generation Cal students! Go Bears!
