Jane Clare Upp writes: “We have no Class Secretary as she passed away just as I sent in my first note several years ago. I’m now living in a retirement community where there are many Cal alums.”
Edward E. Martins writes: “After reading the obituary pages of the last issue, I decided maybe it was time for me to contribute something before I go to my great reward. I started Cal during World War II, got drafted, served, returned to Cal and graduated, went to law school, married, lost my wife Donna in 2020. Still on my two feet, practicing, proactive in the Donna and Edward Martins Foundation supporting UCSF, Berkeley, et al. Now wondering where my friends have gone. I believe I have finally reached maturity at 94. But I can still say: ‘Go Bears!’”
