Camp Oski Rates for Family Camp
Camp Oski is the smallest of the three camps, affording a more intimate experience than Blue or Gold. With less emphasis on sports and competition, it is also more young family-friendly. Its cabins are set in tent circles, promoting a greater sense of camaraderie and community. When the sun goes down, parents are able to relax and unwind around a campfire located just feet from their sleeping children.
If booking one of our new winterized cabins (complete with its own bathroom, heat, fridge, microwave, etc) there will be an additional surcharge added to camping fees. Each cabin has a minimum total charge (from $4,000 - $4,600 depending on the week), so if below minimum, an additional fee will be added. NOTE: summer stays do NOT include linens or bedding, so please bring your own.
A Fire Assessment Fee of $12/day/camper will be added to your total invoice. Our regular camping rates are the same as in 2023. You can learn more about this Fire Assessment Fee below.

Former Staffers and Staffer Friends and Parents

We’d love to host you as a registered camper for a stay in the camper area if we have tents open (there are no ‘guest’ tents available). If you are a parent, please have your staffer share with you information on how to request a tent. If you are a former staffer, we encourage you to attend our Lair Staff Reunion, September 13 – 15. More information about this weekend will be emailed to you, or reach out to us if you don’t believe you’re on our mailing list.

More about our Fire Assessment Fee
Wildfires have become a very real threat to homes and businesses throughout California and other states as well. Fire insurance rates have skyrocketed, and some insurance carriers are dropping policyholders, leaving the California wildfire insurance market altogether, which means fewer options to obtain affordable fire insurance.
These increases have greatly impacted the Lair too, and we’ve struggled to find solutions that are sustainable. In addition, like most other businesses in California, all our other costs continue to rise, including food, propane, supplies, maintenance, and wages, though the fire insurance costs have been the most significant and unpredictable. To help with 2024, the Lair will be assessing a Fire Assessment Fee that will be added to campers’ booking fees that will specifically go towards the rising cost of the Lair’s fire insurance. Our general rates will remain mostly unchanged from 2023, with this Fire Assessment Fee added.
